This web quest integrates the Stage 6 HSC Modern History syllabus. It focuses on Section 2 Germany Nazism Power which covers life in Nazi Germany between 1933-1939. This is an important topic for students studying Nazi Germany as it gives them a basis for the entire section. This web quest aims at guiding students on an individual research task, as well as some group work, that on completion will see them:
H1.1 describe the role of key features, issues, individuals, groups and events of selected
twentieth-century studies
H3.2 locate, select and organise relevant information from different types of sources (secondary, primary - propaganda)
H4.2 communicate a knowledge and understanding of historical features and issues, using
appropriate and well-structured oral and written forms
You are to check each students work book throughout the web quest, making sure they are completing the assigned diary entries, and then on completion you are to mark them, making sure they have a clear understanding of the topic, and include key terms and specific knowledge. You will also assess whether or not they have achieved clear and concise source analysis. The Final lesson will see you conduct a class discussion assessing the students success and the new knowledge they have acquired.
The lessons provided are catered to different learning styles and abilities.
